Waverly’s most talked-about new destination is here. The Dugout is an arcade bar built inside Peabody Heights Brewery, a barcade experience that blends the nostalgia of classic arcade culture with the craft beer credentials Baltimore’s known for. Born from a collaboration between Peabody Heights Brewery, Save Point Arcade, Cielar Studio design team, Todd Blatt installations, and Marshall Adams design work, The Dugout is unlike anything else in Baltimore.
Step inside and you’ll find a fully animated RGB LED arcade floor, UV-painted easter eggs of classic game characters hidden behind a yellow-orange-blue racing stripe installation, and a 20-foot white oak and corrugated metal bar anchoring the opposite wall. The vibe is equal parts retro and futuristic, a callback to the arcades of your childhood, elevated.
Curated by the team at Save Point Arcade, The Dugout keeps 45+ machines on the floor at all times and the lineup rotates to stay fresh. Whether you’re into dance and rhythm games, original classic stand-ups, racing cabinets, or shooters, there’s something here for every kind of player.
Pinball fans: a selection of machines inside The Dugout are set to free-play as part of your cover. For a broader pinball selection on pay-to-play, Save Point also runs an expanded lineup in the Bullpen adjacent to our main taproom.
One flat cover charge gets you unlimited free play for the entire day — no tokens, no per-game fees.
To keep the experience great for everyone, all guests are expected to follow The Dugout’s rules. Failure to comply with any rule results in immediate removal without refund.
For serious Dugout regulars, the Home Plate Club is a no-brainer. For $125 a year, members get:
