Welcome to THE DUGOUT
Waverly’s newest feature attraction is an eclectic arcade + bar experience located within Peabody Heights Brewery. Combining the aesthetic and infrastructural resources of Peabody Heights Brewery, Save Point Arcade, Cielar Studio design team, Todd Blatt installations, and Marshall Adams design work, THE DUGOUT is a callback to the arcades of our youth. Blending the striking colors and graphics of a classic arcade marquee with the utilitarian palette of a high school locker room, there are two distinct portions of the space. The main arcade floor is wrapped in a fully animated RGB LED inspiration nestled behind a classic yellow-orange-blue racing stripe installation. Behind the installation are easter egg UV paintings of classic arcade game symbols and characters that will keep you guessing as you enjoy the 20 foot white oak and corrugated metal bar spanning the opposite wall. Anchored by bar seating, retro-architectural metal lighting, and an ace bar staff providing a variety of Peabody Heights beer and NA options, the entire space feels at once futuristic and nostalgic.
Save Point will be supplying THE DUGOUT with 45+ arcade games and pinball machines within the space at a time. Eric and his team are going to offer a wide variety of machines ranging from dance and rhythm games, classic stand-ups (that are the true original games!), racers, shooters, and more! There will be something for every interest represented within the space. Additionally, THE DUGOUT will host a few pinball machines on free-play at a time. But, please note, the majority of our pinball operation will remain in the bullpen, adjacent to our main taproom, where Save Point will offer an expanded selection of pinball machines that will remain pay-to-play.
So, what does this all cost you? $12 on the weekdays and $15 on the weekends will grant you access to the entire DUGOUT space for the duration of our hours that day. Everything within THE DUGOUT walls will be set to free-play, so your cover fee is all it costs to play! But, we highly encourage you to visit the bar that will be located within THE DUGOUT to grab a pint or soda for your gaming experience, or to just grab a seat and spend some time getting to know Ian, our DUGOUT manager!
Rules of Play
Failure to adhere to ANY rule will result in immediate removal without refund –
- Food is allowed only at the bar
- Drinks may not be placed on games
- Only start one machine at a time and finish your round
- Chairs and stools are for seating at the bar and for some games. They are NOT to be moved
- Everyone must pay to enter, including children – NO EXCEPTIONS
- Infants may enter with an adult for free, but strollers are not permitted inside
- Unattended children are not permitted – adults must enter and exit with their children at all times
- Only 2 children may enter per 1 adult
- No crawling on or under machines
- NO RUNNING
